When Life Imitates Story.
My art is deeply informed by the movements around me, the causes I believe in, and the stories that strike me most intimately.
Whether that is the #MeToo movement (see: my interactive fiction game, Spotlight), the Asian American experience (see: my short VR film, The Long Wok Home), or the abolition of long-term solitary confinement and reform of the American prison system (see: my graphic novel, Flying Kites), I am always searching for avenues in which my art and storytelling can be used to promote representation, critical thought, and greater social change.
Stories are everywhere, in everything we live and do, weaving us together in the smallest and most significant ways.
